How Duel Blackjack works
Hands resolve in seconds. You place a stake, cards are dealt from a cryptographically committed deck, you act, the dealer resolves, payout is applied. No animations, no delays.
- Instant draw and resolve per hand
- Actions: Hit, Stand, Double, Split (pair eligible), Surrender if shown
- Blackjack pays 3:2. Dealer stands on soft 17 unless UI states otherwise
- Verification tool reveals deck seed and proves the deal
Provably fair shuffle
- Server seed hash is published before the hand
- You set a client seed. Nonce increments per hand
- Deck order = HMAC(server, client + “:” + nonce) mapped to card permutations
- After settlement the server seed is revealed. Verify hash, deck and drawn sequence
// pseudo commit = SHA256(serverSeed) perm = shuffle( HMAC_SHA256(serverSeed, clientSeed + ":" + nonce) ) deal = perm[0..n] verify = SHA256(serverSeed) == commit
Copy Hand ID to the on-site Verifier to reconstruct the exact deal and confirm integrity.

Hand flow and UI controls
- Set stake. Optional hotkeys for Hit, Stand, Double, Split
- Fast mode for one hand every 1 to 2 seconds
- Session stats: hands, ROI, errors, average EV
- Verifier link on every settled hand
You can export session CSV to review mistakes. Fewer errors mean lower edge paid to the house.
Finite shoe mode vs continuous shuffle
If Finite shoe mode is active, the deck draws down before reshuffle. Counting has limited, situational value. If Continuous shuffle, each hand uses a fresh permutation so counting has no material gain.

Blackjack FAQ
Is Duel Blackjack provably fair
Yes. Every hand uses a committed server seed plus your client seed. The revealed seed verifies the deal.
What creates the house edge here
Player mistakes. Deviations from basic strategy increase EV for the house. Perfect play drives the edge toward zero.
Is card counting useful
Only if Finite shoe mode is active and penetration is meaningful. Continuous shuffle hands are independent.
What about insurance
Generally negative EV. Basic strategy recommends declining except in rare count-based scenarios.
Are side bets available
Usually off by default to keep EV clean. If enabled, they carry a positive house edge and are optional.
How fast are withdrawals
Typically minutes once approved on-chain. Network fees only. No hidden holds.
